Maura Mea, Papua New Guinea—Maura is a nurse, a poet and an AIDS advocate from Papua New Guinea who discovered her HIV-positive status while being pregnant. She shares her personal journey through motherhood, bereavement and medical isolation.

Fourteen women share their most painful times, their resilience, their yearnings and their passions for change.
